Registration open for Wyoming Outdoor Recreation Summit now open!

Registration for the 2026 Wyoming Outdoor Recreation Summit is officially open. WORS will take place April 30 - May 1 of this year in Saratoga and will bring together industry professionals across the outdoor recreation and tourism and hospitality sectors. Co-hosted by close partners of WOT, the Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation and the Jay Kemmerer WORTH Institute, this is an event that allows Wyoming stakeholders to strengthen Wyoming’s outdoor recreation economy.

WOT Attends Brand USA TravelWeek – India

In January, Jim joined Brand USA, and more than 40 other destinations and attractions, in India for Brand USA TravelWeek - India. This event had 48 pre-scheduled appointments with buyers from across India, as well as free-flowing appointments with members of Indian media outlets. Overall, it was refreshing to hear the amount of knowledge these buyers already knew about Wyoming and their interest in exploring the region.

Elevating Wyoming’s Voice at Industry’s Leading Media Event

Hailey Stevens, WOT’s public relations manager, represented Wyoming at January’s IMM North America in New York, one of the travel industry’s leading media networking events. During the summit, she gained insight into current trends and evolving best practices in travel and media, particularly around storytelling, audience engagement and shifting traveler interests. She also met one-on-one with more than 20 journalists from top-tier outlets including National Geographic, Fodor’s Travel and Travel + Leisure. Several of these conversations have continued beyond the conference, creating meaningful opportunities to elevate Wyoming’s stories and strengthen valuable media relationships.
