Rendezvous in Wyoming FAM trip

From June 6th-10th, the Wyoming Office of Tourism hosted a domestic trade FAM with 4 companies, 3 of which are based out of Utah, specializing in groups and small group customized tours. The FAM trip focused on the 200th Anniversary of Rendezvous Era, truly the heart of the Mountain Man Era and how those men went on to impact history and stories around Wyoming. The FAM circumnavigated the Wind River Mountains and included Sublette, Uinta, Sweetwater, Fremont and Teton Counties. All the companies have already adjusted current itineraries, creating new itineraries or in one case confirming they would be returning to Wyoming to tell a new story after stopping their Wyoming itineraries 5 years ago.

2025 Wyoming Itinerary Guide

The Wyoming Office of Tourism is once again working with Premier Travel Media to produce our 3rd Wyoming Itinerary Guide, which will come out in October of 2025. The content piece for this years guide will focus on the Top 10 places in Wyoming groups are missing out on. While this guide focus is on the packaged group travel market, it has been used often by independent travelers looking to build out a unique Wyoming itinerary as well. You can find the 2023 Wyoming Travel Guide here. If you have any questions about the guide, please reach out to Amy at amy.larsen@wyo.gov. The pricing and contact information is included in the link below.

Inspiring Family Adventures: WOT Collaborates with Content Creators

WOT continues to invest in content creators to travel throughout Wyoming to showcase diverse experiences and authentic visuals. In May, WOT hosted the The Ato's (101k followers) in and around Sheridan and Gillette as part of a Wyoming family-focused campaign. The goal of this visit is to highlight Wyoming as a budget-friendly, family-friendly summer destination.

Throughout the trip, the creators captured real-time content primarily through Instagram Stories, encouraging their audience to follow along live. Edited in-feed posts and reels are going live this month, including this one.

In July, WOT will be hosting another family-centric trip to southwest Wyoming. More to come!
